Developing the Young Workforce North East Scotland’s mission is to be the vital link for businesses and schools to engage, inspire and develop the young workforce of the North East.

Developing the Young Workforce North East Scotland supports educators and businesses to work together as co-investors to create a skilled workforce for Scotland’s future. We help schools make important connections to business and provide information, resources and hands-on guidance to employers and education about how to ensure young people are ready for the world of work.

Over 250 businesses are now linked to a school in the North East of Scotland and inspiring young people about jobs and the skills that are needed to enter the workforce.

We are delighted to report that DYW North East Scotland have referred 7 volunteers to us and that 2 of these volunteers have already accepted invitations from educators to meet with students.

Together Founders4Schools and DYW North East Scotland have facilitated 1,350 student-employer encounters, with educators having brought business leaders into contact with 1,000 students so they are better prepared for the world of work.
