Founder4Schools has helped the University of Aberdeen Business School to enrich our curriculum for students. The platform has given us the opportunity to invite experts in their fields to inspire students on topics that relate to their current studies and career aspirations.

Inspire students
Young people can learn from the experience of successful entrepreneurs, employers, and employees. Hearing their stories could help them to decide on a path or understand the skills they’ll need for the future.
You could also organise activities such as mock interviews and CV workshops. Or, make virtual work experience placements available to your students through the Workfinder app!
Connect the talent pipeline
We can support you to help students develop employability skills they need to ensure they start their career with the skills business need.
Inviting business role models, virtually or in person, to discuss the skills they need or explain what it's really like to work in their sector is a great way to prepare the next generation.
Give young people the support they need to gain soft skills such as resilience and time management. A lack of these skills can often be one of the biggest barriers to recruitment.
How it works
Support your students to access work experience opportunities through Workfinder and our Sustainable Futures Programme.
College and university students can quickly sign up to search for opportunities using the Workfinder platform and access virtual, flexible placements.

Sustainable Futures
Through our Sustainable Futures programme we look to support 16-18 year olds with placements in sustainability fields and on sustainability projects.

Your staff can volunteer to speak to young people in schools and at our F4S Digital events. Encounters like our Routes & Pathways, Apprenticeship and Careers & Jobs events are great ways you can talk to schools about their future options.
