CIPD is the professional body for experts in people at work. For more than 100 years, we've been championing better work and working lives by setting professional standards for HR and people development, as well as driving positive change in the world of work.

We believe that as well as creating value for organisations and economies, work can and should benefit individuals and society at large too. Work must do more than meet our basic financial needs - it should give us meaning and purpose, and contribute to our overall well-being.

We provide practical career support, guidance and advice to help improve capability and practice in HR and L&D and to help our members succeed in their careers. We also play a crucial role in promoting HR as a career and attracting new talent into the profession. We have teamed up with F4S because we believe that HR professionals in the classroom is important way to attract new talent into our profession.

We are delighted to report that CIPD have referred 29 volunteers to us and that 12 of these volunteers have already accepted invitations from educators to meet with students.

Together Founders4Schools and CIPD have facilitated 6,051 student-employer encounters, with educators having brought business leaders into contact with 5,751 students so they are better prepared for the world of work. Below you can see a map of the schools these educators are employed by.
