Event description

Inspiration & Motivation

Year 8 will be off timetable for the day to focus on Enterprise skills.
We would like to have our guest speakers address the students during an assembly style session.
We want to hear your stories about success, hard work and the journey taken to achieve where you are today.
Students love hearing about school subjects, first jobs etc - the pot noodles eaten whilst your companies are in infancy, the problems encountered against the resilience needed to solve them...
We have scheduled 9am-10am for the talks. We will then follow the session with all students taking part in an enterprise day. Students will receive a brief and work in teams to achieve the best outcome. Risk management, product design, marketing etc are some of the issues tackled. We then have a dragons den event in the afternoon for the teams to pitch against each other.
Guests are invited to attend our school from 8.30am, for briefing and refreshments. Parking is available in visitor spots on site.
