Careers and Jobs Event at Spen Valley High School

We are hosing a Careers Fair to raise students awareness and understanding of different types of work available in the local area, and to raise their aspirations about what work they can do in the future.
About the day: Volunteers will be asked to arrive between 8am and 8:30am to set up. The fair will start at 8:50am and will end at 12:20pm, at which point volunteers can pack up. There will be a break from 11am - 11:20am. Refreshments will be provided.
About the audience: The audience will be Year 9, 10 and 11 students. The student will be divided into groups. Each group will attend the fair for approximately 15-20 minutes each. There will be roughly 50-60 students in each group.
Where and when: The activity is taking place at Spen Valley High School, Robettown Lane, Liversedge, West Yorkshire, WF15 7LX. Set up from 8am. Finish at 12:30pm.
