The event was created by Anthony Mccarthy for 50 students at Bishop Thomas Grant Catholic Secondary School aged Age 15 - 15.
Event description
Inspire our students to engage in exciting career opportunities.
"In this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
The sessions will be on a carousel for year 10 students.
There will also be a careers fair running throughout the day which you can participate in which would be greatly appeeciated!
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."
