Here at Castle Manor Academy, we are excited to invite you to our first whole-school Health and Careers Fair. We have started to plan our Health, Career and Education Fair for this academic year, due to be held on Thursday 26th June 2025 and we hope you or a colleague/s can support us with exhibiting at our event.

Our event is open to all students attending Castle Manor Academy, from Year 7 to Year 10 (11-15 years old). To make our event unique and memorable for students in attendance, we are asking our exhibitors to have an interactive element to their stalls to showcase what you do in your roles.

We intend to hold the Health and the Careers Fair as two separate events on the same day but running in sync. With this in mind, I am writing to you today to invite you to the Careers Fair element.

We have also planned for our event to allow enough time for you to network with fellow exhibitors, set up and ask any questions before our event begins.

The outline for our Careers Fair is as follows:

08:50 – 09:50: Exhibitors arrive, network and set up 09:55 – 10:05: Safety Briefing 10:10 – 11:00: Year 10 (156 students) 11:00 – 11:20: Networking 1 - Refreshments and light snacks provided 11:20 – 12:10: Year 9 (150 students) 12:10 – 13:00: Year 8 (152 students) 13:00 – 13:40: Networking 2 – Refreshments and lunch provided 13:40 – 14:30: Year 7 (152 students) 14:30 – 15:20: Close of event, networking and packing away

At Castle Manor Academy we strongly believe in the importance of Career Education and the importance of developing our student's knowledge and awareness and the local employment opportunities and the world of work.

By attending this event you could benefit our students and the local community of Haverhill in the following ways:

Raising aspirations; Facilitating career ambitions; Widening knowledge of the different types of careers; Identifying the benefits of Further and Higher Education in meeting career aspirations.
