Event description

Girls Who Climb

I hope you are well - I am contacting you on behalf of F4S with an exciting opportunity in your community to support young people so they can embrace their future careers enthusiastically rather than fearfully.

We feel that what you are and have been doing career-wise would be helpful to them as they form ideas about their futures!

For us, a careers event is easy and requires little preparation as it is about you and your company. We would like you to cover what you thought you might do when you were in your teens, then describe what your role is today and how your skills & activities have evolved.

I would be beyond delighted if you could help out your community in this way. If you are unavailable but have a colleague who can capture the hearts and minds of young people, please feel free to nominate them for consideration.

This in person school event will take place at Dixons Fazakerley Academy (DFA), 1, Sherwood's Lane, Liverpool L10 1LB.

Event Objective: To raise academic attainment and boost confidence by inspiring girls at DFA through exposure to successful female role models across various industries and career paths

Event plan:

  1. Welcome Introduction (5/10 minutes):

  2. Keynote Speaker (15/20 minutes)

  3. Panel Discussion: Diverse Career Pathways (25 minutes)

  4. Inspirational Video Screening (5- 10 mins)
