Inspire our students during careers week!
During the week commencing the 3rd of March 2025, Manor croft Academy in Dewsbury will be enjoying our yearly careers week. This week aims to introduce our students to a range of career professionals and aspirations that our students may not otherwise get the chance to in their daily lives.
If you are available, below is a few of the things we would like you to tell our students.
- Who you are and background information about the business you work for.
- Your daily tasks in your profession
- How you got into your profession.
- What inspired you to pick your profession.
We would also like to allocate some time for Q&A
Our students are often very curious to know more and may have their own questions, these will be typed in chat and vetted by teachers beforehand to ensure questions are appropriate.
I really hope you will consider this offer to inspire our young people. If you would like to attend online, but cannot make the time stated in the details provided, the careers week will run until the Friday, so we can arrange based on your availability.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration,
Kind regards
Sophie McArdle
