About the teacher and students

The event was created by Emma Thomson-Lake for 75 students at West Lancashire Community High School aged Age 11 - 14.

Event description

Inspire our students

Bringing sectors and jobs to life and inspire young people to consider their career options and raise aspirations through offering real insight regarding daily duties of a specific job or talking about a day in the life in a particular sector. Can include showing and explaining the specific skills required in a given industry to give valuable insight into young people considering a career option.

We are arranging an Employer and Employee Encounter experience for our KS3 Students. The aim of this session is for the students to find out about different career options and question Employers about what qualifications, skills and attributes they need for their jobs. This is a great opportunity to see what is available to them.

Date:- Thursday 30th January 2025 Time:- 10.30am - 12 noon.
