Event description

Project Mentoring

AIMS
To support students to improve their professional skills and output.
To help students understand the knowledge they need in the sector they are aspiring to.

This is an ongoing project that can be timetabled flexibly throughout the year.

Students are working in groups of 4 or 5 and will be choosing projects that interest them. They will be working on driving questions in order to understand employment sectors and create solutions, develop ideas and present effectively. Our mentors will support this process

Students will show their work to the mentor and explain how they have worked together. The mentor will then ask questions and make suggestions on how they can improve their work, correct misconceptions and so on. The aim is to support each group at least twice during the project phase (5-10 minutes each).

Here is a short video that shows some of the stuff we are doing!
