The event was created by Megan Lotter for 25 students at Ark Alexandra Academy aged Age 16 - 17.
Event description
Futures Week
Develop the skills of young people helping them to develop broader understanding relating to gaining and sustaining employment or by setting them activities that support them in applying for a job, for example, writing an application form, writing a CV or taking part in a mock interview.
We would like a particular focus on writing CV's and cover letters, with the aim of the students having written a completed cover letter and CV by the end of the week.
We would also like the students to be informed about interview technique and what to expect. The opportunity for students to participate in mock interviews would also really benefit our pupils.
