The event was created by Sumeena Razzaqi for 150 students at Morpeth Newminster Middle School aged Age 12 - 13.
Year 8 Careers Conference
Aim: To highlight key employability skills and provide pupils with the opportunity to further broaden their future career horizons. Through the face-face encounters, the pupils' will experience not only an insight into the world of work, but gain an understanding of different educational pathways including apprenticeships, and wider technical education options such as T-Levels and Higher Technical Qualifications across a range of sectors so that they can make informed option choices in year 9 at KEVI.
