Event description

TKAT Sixth Form Aspire Day - Hosted at Greenwich University

TKAT (The Kemnal Trust Academy) are hosting an Aspire Day on the 10th July, where we will bring our 7 sixth forms together with the aim to raise the aspirations of all of our students, there will be approximately 400 students in attendance. Greenwich University have kindly donated a space to the event.

The event allows students to pick a range of breakouts, including hearing from industry experts in the the industry they are interested in pursuing, these would be the sessions that you would be involved in.
The specialist talks would be 40 mins long (some sessions may run more that once if possible) and would be a career talk that may cover the following points:

*Your journey into your career: what you studied at A Level and beyond
*What was the application process like?
*What does your job involve? What do you love about it? What do you wish you could change?
*What skills do you need to be successful?
*What advice you have?

There will be a teacher in the room with you to introduce you and encourage the students to ask questions.

The breakout schedules are due to take place at: 10:30 / 11:15 / 12:00 - we can be flexible around your schedule. If you can be part of Aspiring our students we would love to welcome you to our event.
