Event description

DYW Week - St Margaret's Academy

St Margaret's Academy are delivering a "DYW Week" for S1-S3 pupils w/c 13th May, during which approximately 600 pupils will network with a range of employers across different industries to find out about their organisation, industry and the skills and qualifications required to succeed.

The event will take place in the school gym hall, where each employer will have an information stand which pupils will visit in a "speed networking" style format. Pupils will have allocated time slots throughout the morning and teaching staff will be on hand to ensure pupils are moving around each employer stall:

9.30am - S1 pupils
10.30am - S2 pupils
11.20am - S3 pupils

This is a fantastic opportunity for employers to raise awareness of their organisation and wider industry, and to encourage pupils to consider their career options and understand what they need to do to get there.

We would love it if you were able to support the event and share information and insight to help pupils broaden their career aspirations.
