The event was created by Debra Casson for 75 students at All Saints Catholic College Specialist in Humanities aged Age 14 - 15.
Event description
Careers Fair
"In this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
The event will be set out with stalls so students have the chance to speak to various training providers and employers. It would be useful to have a stand and some leaflets showing the various roles available in the organisation.
The employers could also describe their career journey.
Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
What inspired them to choose their career path
Their failures, as well as successes
What their company does and why this is important
What they enjoy most about their career
Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."
