City of London Academy Highbury Grove's Careers Carousel for National Careers Week

My name is Cai Gomes, the Work Experience and Work-Related Learning Coordinator at City of London Academy Highbury Grove. I wanted to reach out personally to invite you to participate in our upcoming Careers Carousel on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024, as part of National Careers Week. This event is a fantastic opportunity for your organization to connect with a diverse group of Year 10, 11, 12, and 13 students who are eager to explore various career paths and network with potential employers.
The Careers Carousel will run from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and will feature dedicated stalls for each participating organization. We'll provide space for you to showcase your organization, engage with students through one-on-one conversations and interactive activities, and give them valuable insights into your work, career opportunities, and the skills required for various roles. This informal setting is a great chance for students to ask questions, learn from professionals like yourself, and gain valuable exposure to diverse career options.
Of course, refreshments will be provided throughout the event to keep everyone energized!
We believe your participation will significantly enrich the experience for our students, offering them invaluable exposure to the professional world and the chance to network with inspiring individuals like you. • You may also choose to bring worksheets or activities for students to participate in at your booth.
Please note:
• Refreshments will be provided for all participants throughout the event.
• We encourage you to arrive approximately 20-25 minutes before the event starts to set up your booth.
