The event was created by Selena Ramsden for 100 students at University of Leeds aged Age 16 - 17.

Event description

Steps to University for Mathematical Students - Girls' event

Part of a full day event - the speaker will only be required to stay for a 25 minute talk (this can be in the morning around 10:30am or in the afternoon around 3pm)

We would like speakers to relate their career to maths learnt at school/university which could be through content or skills developed (e.g reasoning, problem solving, logic). School/college students also appreciate hearing about which subjects the speakers studied at A Level, the speakers experience of university and how they overcame any challenges (and what they learnt about this).
