The event was created by Danielle Archer for 50 students at St Mark's Primary School aged Age 11 - 11.
Event description
Maths4Girls - our aim is to inspire and engage our pupils by providing them with inspirational speakers and leaders in their field so that our pupils can see the importance of maths and the relevance it holds in their future pathways.
In this 1 hour session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey (up to 10mins):
• How maths played a part and how maths is relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
Q&As will follow to end the session.
