World of Work: Inspire our students

We can be flexible of dates and times - we are looking to host a World of Work Focus during week of 11/03/24, but are open to visits across other weeks in March if that suits presenters better. Once matched we can discuss finer detail re sessions and audience.

"In this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:

• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now

• What inspired them to choose their career path

• Their failures, as well as successes

• What their company does and why this is important

• What they enjoy most about their career

• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."
