After studying and working in music, movies, and video games, I found my way to computers as a "Software Product Owner." I can tell engaging stories about using school to "learn how to learn" as a path to success in the fast-changing employment market. I also work to promote inclusion and diversity in the workplace.

The event was created by Andrew Webb for 50 students at Featherstone High School aged Age 16 - 17.
Business Ambassadors - Year 12
The event is during PSHE lessons. Year 12 students are in the first year of 6th Form and will be considering a range of options to follow when they finish school in June 2025.
PSHE is the part of the curriculum covering areas such as careers education, relationships and other aspects of being a good citizen. The lesson you are part of is related to the careers programme.
During the lesson you will have 10-15 minutes to speak to the class about your job. Areas you might want to cover include the qualifications you gained, your career path and the highlights of your role. This is only a guide and Business Ambassadors interpret this successfully in a variety of ways. If you want to accompany your presentation with a Powerpoint on a USB this is okay, but not expected. After your presentation there will be an opportunity for the students to ask questions before the form teacher leads the remainder of the lesson. This can be arranged ‘face to face’ or online.
