Event description

Inspire our students

We are looking to run 15 minutes workshops for S3 pupils prior to their subjects choice in order to motivate them to continue with the study of a language. We are looking for volunteers who can share their experience of language learning and how it benefited them in their career paths.

"In this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:

• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now

• What inspired them to choose their career path

• Their failures, as well as successes

• What their company does and why this is important

• What they enjoy most about their career

• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."
