The event was created by Simone Wilson for 150 students at Wirral Grammar School for Boys aged Age 17 - 18.
Event description
Inspire our students: Y13 Mock Interviews
Develop the skills of young people helping them to develop broader understanding relating to gaining and sustaining employment or by setting them activities that support them in applying for a job - mock interviews.
The focus of the interview would be surrounding the content of their Personal Statement for university. The idea is that through discussion and feedback from the interviewer the students could then go away and strengthen their PS prior to submission. However, we would also like them to experience an interview situation, although we know they most likely won't get a university interview, so this is for general interview practice skills aswell.
Additionally, there are a small cohort of students who will be applying for apprenticeships. They will produce their CV for consideration at their interview.
We are looking at TUESDAY 17 OCTOBER 2023 hosting this event at Wirral Grammar School for Boys, 9.30am-12.00pm.
