Maths4Girls
The Advanced Maths Support Programme NE Christmas Lectures

In this event, role models will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
The event is from 1pm to 3.30pm but speakers do not have to attend for the full time but are welcome to.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey (up to 10mins):
• How maths played a part and how maths is relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.

Q&As will follow to end the session.
