Find your Future – Eden Park High School Careers Fair. Wednesday 6th March 2024
We would like to invite you to the Eden Park High School ‘Find your Future’ fair on Wednesday 6th March 2024.
Many of our students have limited ideas about the range of careers or pathways that they can take after school. We would like your support in widening their awareness of the world of work and routes they can take into different jobs and sectors.
At the ‘Find your Future’ fair different employers, training providers, colleges and universities will be in attendance. Students in Year groups 7 to 13 (ages 11-18) will attend the fair at separate times to meet with you and ask questions. We ran a similar event last year and received positive feedback from attendees, staff, and students. As a result of attend the fair students’ aspirations were raised and they had a greater awareness of what they can do. This year we would like to make the fair bigger and better with a wider range of attendees.
The day will begin at 8.30am and finish by 2pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
The address for the school is Eden Park High School. 43 Balmoral Ave, Beckenham BR3 3TJ. The closest train station (10 minute's walk) is Elmer’s End, or you are welcome to park in the visitor’s car park at the front of the school.
What to bring?
To help bring to life what your career or organisation does it would be great if you could bring along all or some of the following:
Flyers, posters, banners, freebies – anything visual which will help students understand what you or your organisation does.
Props, uniform, models – depending on your role/organisation then you might like to bring in props and/or equipment which you might use in your role. If you have an activity that students can get involved in this would be great too.
A laptop with videos or examples/images of the work you do.
We hope you can attend. Please RSVP to jedwards@eph.e21c.co.uk
