Real World Maths 4 Big Girls! 6-6:45pm

This is a virtual event : A chat with a Quantitative Analyst, who studied Maths and Physics at Uni and Graduate school, on how she learned maths and made it part of her career.

Speaker will ‘tell a story’ about how they first realised they enjoy maths (up to 10mins):
• How maths played a part in their degree choice and how maths is relevant now for them in their work.
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.

Q&As will follow to end the session.
