Event description

Park High Careers Fair

Inspire our students by talking about your career journeys and industries you work in during our Careers Fair!
On Tuesday 17 October 2023 we are inviting professionals like yourselves into Park High School, HA7 1PL to talk to our year 8-13s students about various career paths. The Careers Fair is to inform and inspire our students to consider different industries and explore the routes and pathways available. This may include showcasing current job opportunities or explaining the pathways that young people can take to obtain a job within a particular sector i.e. university, college, apprenticeship, or other employability schemes.
Students will attend the careers fair in some groups every 30 minutes. We do ask for a short bio (150 words max) ahead of time, which we share with students so that the older ones can make choices about who to approach and the interesting questions to ask. Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day.
Best Wishes
Donna Foster
Careers & Employability Coordinator
