The event was created by Raj Mackay for 250 students at Thorns Collegiate Academy aged Age 15 - 15.

Event description

Inspire our students - year 11 students are completing careers day and will be on rotation for the whole day.

This sessions is about enabling young people to make their own decisions and to take responsibility for their own lives and communities. These events help students learn a range of attributes to boost employability, develop the personal skills, qualities and attitudes needs to success post-education and prepare them for the world of work. In addition to this, students can gain an in-depth understanding of why integral skills such as resilience, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills and independence are important within the workplace.

The students will rotate in different activities and a workshop with yourself about the world of work and employer expectations and employability. would be great. the workshop will start at 9.30 and finish at 14.25.
We will accommodate you - and can be a little flexible on timings, depending on attendance of employers.
