Event description
Understanding the role, skills & qualities of administrative assistants.
I have 2 S3 classes who are studying towards their National 5 qualification in Administration & IT. They are currently learning about the tasks, skills & qualities of an administrative assistant. I would be extremely grateful if we could have 1 person to attend the classes in Arbroath High School to talk about their experiences of working within administration. They have also been learning about the recruitment process from identifying a need to creating job adverts, job descriptions & person specifications, to applications & interviews then offering the position to a successful applicant. This could also be discussed. Having someone in to talk to them would really enhance their learning and make it meaningful.
