The event was created by Joe Derrett for 50 students at Doha College aged Age 15 - 18.

Event description

Life in the sciences

In this 1 hour session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey (up to 10mins):
• How science played a part and how science is relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.

Q&As will follow to end the session.
