Event description

Bentley Wood High School for Girls Employer Engagement/Enrichment talks aim to open the minds of our students about the world of work.

Bentley Wood High School for Girls is rated outstanding and ranks in the top 1% of schools nationally according to the progress our students make from Year 7-11. 1:5 of our students are on free school meals and we have probably the highest percentage of young carers on roll of any school in London. Our employer Enrichment talks aim to inspire our students to think beyond the traditional popular career choices to use their imagination to consider career ideas that they would never encounter at such a young age. We want speakers who are willing to share their own career story, the ups and downs as well as the highs and lows through the education system and in the world of work. The qualifications that they have achieved that are necessary for the job they do as well as the transferable skills that they have gained at school, college and university that they use in their jobs today.
