About the teacher and students

The event was created by Candice Roshier for 350 students at St Michael's Catholic College aged Age 13 - 18.

Event description

Our students are always amazing, however sometimes most cannot see the bigger picture. Aspiration and inspiration is what most need to help.

We are a mixed catholic secondary school located in Bermondsey around a 5-minute walk from Bermondsey station (Jubilee line) or a 15-minute walk from London Bridge (main line and tube stations).

The sessions will run as follows:
From 9am: entry, tea, set-up. Each representative/group of representatives will have their own desk and chairs. There is space for Banners &/or other promotional material.
9.30-10.45: students from our sixth form will circulate and talk to individual representatives.
10.45-11.15: BREAK: coffee and sandwiches.
11.15-12.15: “Careers Speed Dating”. Groups of younger students will circulate, asking quick fire questions in shorter meetings to get a sense of roles and careers and what they entail.
There will be around 150 students in each session (you won’t have to talk to all of them).
Thanks. Candice
