About the teacher and students

The event was created by Michelle Vincent for 250 students at All Saints Catholic School and Technology College aged Age 14 - 15.

Event description

We are organising a WOW day (World of Work Day) for yr10 students to be able to learn about what the world of work may look like.

This event will enable students to meet employers and find out what skills are needed in the work place as well as qualifications.
we are running 100 minute workshops during the day and inviting employers to attend and interview students for10mins during the day on a carousel type of theme. Interview questions and feedback forms will be provided.
This event will really engage students in a pro active way to experince employability, cv writing, making applications and interview experience.
Due to covid students are unable to go out for work experience unless they know a family friend but hopefully this event will be inclusive for all.
