About the teacher and students

The event was created by Melanie Breen for 25 students at Sacred Heart Catholic School aged Age 17 - 18.

Event description

Inspire our students and educate on strategic positioning of a brand.

A short discussion on the importance of strategic positioning of a business or brand.
The A Level Business students will be studying strategic positioning as part of their A Level course. The session will be focused on giving an overview of your business / brand or the business / brand you work with. How do they position themselves within the market? What is their target market? What has influenced this positioning?

Activity with students. 'Identify a new market' and 'How might the business or brand break into a new market?' (a group activity)

The idea of this workshop is for the students to have first hand experience with working with industry specialists and to be challenged in a real life scenario and get a taste for working in industry.

10 mins = talking time about the brand / business
15 mins = activity
15 mins = feedback
10 mins Q&A.
