The event was created by Max Hampton for 50 students at Heathermount School aged Age 11 - 18.

Event description

Inspire our students. We are an SEN school where the primary diagnosis is Autism. Our students really struggle to see themselves in work.

As all of our students have a primary diagnosis of Autism, most really struggle to see themselves in the place of work, and the wonders that working can provide.
Because of this, Many of our students fear looking into the work of work, and its contents which had led to a big gap in their knowledge as to what is out there. Having some successful, optimistic workers come into our school and talk to them face to face would do them the world of good.
I would like the speakers to take turns describing who they are and what they do. The benefits of the work they do, and how they can live a life as well as work. If it could be made interactive at all that would be a plus!
