About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Ian Poole for 150 students at Chessington School aged Age 13 - 16.

Event description

A opportunity to meet a wide group of young people to inspire them in the summer before they start their GCSEs.

We would like students to move around the room in small groups and speak to you as employers and business' leaders about your work in 5-minute intervals. You would then speak to a new, small group of students every 5 minutes. This would take place between 11.00 and 12.30 with time to set up from 10.30 and a light lunch provided at 12.30 afterwards if you wish to stay.

We are also be keen to find an employer (or employers) who could give a talk to Year 9 or Year 10 on that day any any of the following times:
- 11.00 - 11.45 to half of Year 9 then again 11.45 - 12.30 to the other half of Year 9.
- 13.30 (for 45 mins? or an hour?) to Year 9 or Year 10.
