Event description

Maths4Girls at Maidtsone Grammar School for Girls

We are currently organizing an event aimed at encouraging year 10 girls to study Maths in our grammar school for girls, and we would be honored if you would consider joining us as a guest speaker.
We believe that your insights and experiences would be invaluable in inspiring these young girls to pursue their interests in Maths and consider the opportunities that studying this subject can bring.

In this 1 hour session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey (up to 15mins):
• How maths played a part and how maths is relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.

Q&As will follow to end the session.
