Event description

Careers Aspirations Day - Our aim is to promote careers they may have not known exist and introduce them in a fun, practical way.

Monday 22nd May 2023

St Oswald's CE VA Primary School
St Oswald's Road
Hebburn
Tyne and Wear
NE31 1HT

The event is all day but if you could only attend either the morning or afternoon session that would still be hugely appreciated by the school, their students and us at F4S.

The entire school is involved in the event so you would have an opportunity to speak to students from reception through to year 6, ages 5-11.

The morning session will run from 0915 until 1230 and will involve students rotating between speakers with pre-prepared questions, a career “speed dating”.

The afternoon will be from 1330 until 1500 with students again rotating between speakers but accompanied by parents who will also have an opportunity to ask questions.

Children will be prepared with questions for the morning session, they might ask things like...
What their company does and why this is important
What they enjoy most about their career
Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now
