Physics in the Spotlight - Physics to save a life (Funded by The Ogden Trust)
In celebration of British Science Week 2023 we are holding a day of free, online, live 45 minute webinars to give secondary students aged 11+ insight into a range of careers in Physics.
The LimitLess report (Institute of Physics, Oct, 2021) shows that participation in physics is limited by gender, ethnicity, social background and disability. The theme of British Science Week is Connections, so we are inviting you to connect with us in our aim to inspire, educate and empower the next generation to pursue physics in further education and as a career, thereby growing the next generation of physicists, engineers, innovators, and change makers.
This is a great learning opportunity for young people to learn about different careers in Physics, what they entail, the opportunities they can offer, and how to get there!
Founders4Schools (F4S) invites schools, students and young people interested in discovering more about different career paths in physics to join us in these free virtual sessions to hear from inspirational role models about what it means to work in their job/industry/sector - real people, telling real stories.
Students will get the chance to ask those who have already done it the questions they want answers to.
