These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Yasmin Ahmed for 300 students at Phoenix Academy aged Age 14 - 18.

Event description

Inspire our students by talking about your career journeys and industries you work in during our Careers Fair!

"In this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

On Monday 24th April 2023 we are inviting professionals like yourselves into school to talk to our year 9-13s students about various career paths.

You will only need to talk in small groups –no presentation or preparation required, just a willingness to talk about your career journey and experiences. We do ask for a short bio (150 words max) ahead of time, which we share with students so that the older ones can make choices about who to approach and the interesting questions to ask. If you want to bring banners / print outs or any other items for your stalls you are more than welcome!

Best Wishes
Yasmin Ahmed
