The event was created by Jonathan Howard for 200 students at St Aloysius RC College aged Age 11 - 14.

Event description

Inspire our students Year 7-9 Careers Event
To showcase a variety of careers and industries.

"n this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:

• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now

• What inspired them to choose their career path

• Their failures, as well as successes

• What their company does and why this is important

• What they enjoy most about their career

• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."

Looking for speakers to be able to do 2 or more 40 mins talks/workshops for small classroom groups or larger year groups depending on confidence. Ideally 9-12:00 or 10:00- 12:45 ish.
