Event description

Torphichen & Westfield Primary School Partnership Event

Over the past few years Torphichen and Westfield Primary schools have been on a journey developing away from traditional models of education. We have adopted an agile approach with a focus on skills development and pupil autonomy.

This has involved pupils taking responsibility for their own learning through independent projects. Pupils plan and pitch their own ideas to study with teachers facilitating learning through coaching sessions.

This event is to allow pupils to build partnerships with the wider community of outside agencies in order to gain experience of relevant, real world problems and apply their skills in meaningful ways.

Come along to find out more about our journey and how you could help support us with this!
