Event description

Inspire our students at our STEM week event

We are looking for speakers to come into our school during out STEM week (Nov 15-18) and speak to our young people about their experiences from their careers, the sectors they work in and to highlight what STEM elements there are and the kinds of jobs that your companies have that require STEM subjects.

If your company has a focus on sustainability, please highlight this to pupils.
In these sessions business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will˜tell a story about their career journey:
Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
What inspired them to choose their career path
Their failures, as well as successes
What their company does and why this is important
What they enjoy most about their career
Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
