Event description

Encouraging young people to study Business subjects

We want to encourage our S3 pupils to choose a business subject to study at S4 and would like speakers to come and talk to them about their career journey to allow them to hear about careers they could work towards if they follow the Business Management route.

This session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will tell a story about their career journey:

Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now

What inspired them to choose their career path

Their failures, as well as successes

What their company does and why this is important

What they enjoy most about their career

Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."
