Event description

Careers Cafe

Bringing sectors and jobs to life and inspire young people to consider their career options and raise aspirations through offering real insight regarding daily duties of a specific job or talking about a day in the life in a particular sector. Can include showing and explaining the specific skills required in a given industry to give valuable insight into young people considering a career option.

We are looking for volunteers to attend our Careers Cafe event for students aged 13-18 at Frome Community College. We would like you to produce a presentation/talk all about your careers experience and any advice you might have for our students considering their next steps beyond school. The proposed structure of the event would be as follows: arrive at 8:30am, then host your 30min talk to 2 groups of students and finish by 10am.
