Event description

Online or In person: Languages - A world of opportunity
Alternative date 11/11/22 @ 8.50AM

We have aspirations for our young people and always encourage them to aim high. Role Models in the business world and their valuable experience would help our pupils understand what is needed to achieve this. We want to develop the skills of our young people and help them to gain a broader understanding relating to gaining and sustaining employment.

In particular, we want to demonstrate the importance of effective communication and cultural awareness as well as knowing other languages in the workplace. We want to show our young people how studying a language can open a world of opportunities to them.

We are looking for volunteers who use or have used languages in their working life to come and give a short career talk about the importance of good communication skills, and problem-solving skills in the world of work.
