Event description

Year 11 Careers and Enterprise fayre-

This event has been planned to Inspire our students by engaging with local businesses and taking part in a ‘speed dating’ mock interview day.

In this session, business volunteers will also share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:

• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now

• What inspired them to choose their career path

• Their failures, as well as successes

• What their company does and why this is important

• What they enjoy most about their career

• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."
