Event description

Year 10 Careers Fair at Harris Academy St John's Wood - flexible speaking slot

Year 10 careers morning

Please come and share your unique experience and knowledge with our Year 10 to help them make informed decisions about their future next year!

The event will be hosted in our big Auditorium from 11 am to 1 pm. Students will attend in two groups because the year group is very large (about 200 students) and each group will be divided into smaller groups (4 or 5 students each) so that the students can discuss for about 10 minutes with different volunteers for one hour.

Feel free to prepare for it as you see fit (just a speech, impromptu, PowerPoint slides, or anything else you prefer).

You will be assigned a station with seats and a table and students will move around every 10 minutes.

You can talk about your career journey, your qualifications, your aspirations, what motivated you, or any other good career advice you want to share! Feel free to share tips and mention skills that are necessary for your job, or that you believe they should develop.
