The event was created by Suzanne Lewis-Dale for 250 students at St Joseph's Catholic Academy aged Age 13 - 17.

Event description

Careers fair- All day, We are happy for support all day or at the am or pm sessions. Details outlined below.

Aim- to motivate students by exploring routes into different job roles and giving examples of qualifications needed and importance of transferable skills

Year 9 speed dating am sessions. 9:00-12:15

Groups of 4 or 5 students to take place in a rotation of interviews with employers. Students will be given a set of question to work through to find out about the business, job roles, routes into employment and skills.

Year 10 and 12 Careers fair- Stalls set up by employers. 1:00-3:00

Traditional careers fair, stalls, leaflets, banners etc. Students will be given a set of question to work through to find out about the business, job roles, routes into employment and skills.

Open to whole school year 7-12 with parents Careers fair- Stalls set up by employers. 3:00 - 5:00
