Event description
Year 6 Careers Day
Come and inspire our Year 6 pupils with your knowledge and expertise. The Careers event is an annual event and is a highlight of the school calendar.
Speakers will lead hour long workshops with a group of children who have shown interest in their field. Speakers will share their journey to success and will answer some questions from the children.
Speakers will also share:
Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
What inspired them to choose their career path
Their failures, as well as successes
What their company does and why this is important
What they enjoy most about their career
Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."
